Preamble

7SIGMA GmbH – passion for quality (hereinafter “7SIGMA”) stands for the values and standards described in this Code of Conduct. We are convinced that the principles set out here form the basis for a successful company.

We are committed to aligning our actions towards all stakeholders with these principles. In doing so, we consciously attach great importance to treating our stakeholders with respect and appreciation. Only in this way can we ensure that we are perceived both internally and externally as a reliable and responsible partner and secure our position as a successful market player in a challenging competitive environment in the long term.

These guidelines reflect our understanding of ethically and socially responsible action, environmentally conscious behavior and a resource-conserving approach.

Our basic rules of conduct

Lawful and compliant behavior

Compliance with national and international legal regulations is a fundamental prerequisite for all our business activities. 7SIGMA expects the same from its business partners. Furthermore, we respect the cultural characteristics and ethical values of all countries in which we operate.

Fair competition

We attach great importance to the integrity of our business relationships with customers, business partners, suppliers and competitors. The provisions of antitrust and competition law are complied with without exception.

Prevention of corruption and avoidance of undue advantages

7SIGMA does not tolerate any form of corruption or the granting of improper advantages. No personal advantages may be demanded, accepted, offered or granted in the course of our business activities. If employees are confronted with such demands or offers, they are obliged to inform their manager.

Dealing with information

The rapid development of information technology has resulted in new requirements for information security and data protection. The protection of company-related information is therefore a fundamental requirement of our daily work. We guarantee a permanently high level of data protection and data security.

Occupational health and safety

Occupational safety and the protection of our employees’ health are closely linked to the efficiency and quality of 7SIGMA as a sustainable employer. Our actions are based on the World Health Organization’s (WHO) understanding of health. We consistently comply with all statutory regulations, guidelines and standards on occupational health and safety and regard accident-free working as an achievable goal.

Environmental responsibility

7SIGMA is convinced that environmentally conscious action is both an ethical and a corporate obligation. By acting responsibly, we contribute to the conservation of natural resources, biodiversity and climate protection for future generations, while at the same time safeguarding our economic performance and competitiveness in the long term. Compliance with our environmental guidelines is a fundamental prerequisite for this. Environmental aspects are taken into account in every business decision.

Prohibition of discrimination

All employees are entitled to fair, polite and respectful treatment by superiors and colleagues. Discrimination based on origin, skin color, nationality, ancestry, gender, religion or ideology, political views, age, disability, sexual orientation or other personal characteristics without objective reason is prohibited.

Social responsibility

For 7SIGMA, social sustainability means, in particular, compliance with the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact. We are committed to respectful cooperation and consistent compliance with applicable labor standards.


Scope of application and responsibility

With its commitment to the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact, 7SIGMA GmbH sets high standards in terms of human rights, working conditions, environmental and sustainability responsibility. We comply with these standards, develop them further and undertake to apply the following principles consistently.

This Code of Conduct applies to all employees and suppliers of 7SIGMA GmbH. Our employees are required to observe not only the wording but also the meaning and purpose of this Code and to base their actions on their professional and ethical judgment.

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in consequences under labor law – this also expressly applies to managers.
